Yoga 40 Minute Total Body Workout to Forearm Balance. It's time for another total body "workout" Shhh....don't tell anyone, but really this class (like the others) is a "Total Body and Mind Work-In!" I try to keep that under wraps, so that people don't get intimidated or turned off...working out is attractive, but working on the inside? Not so much. The good news is that we get to work out the physical body and we'll also work out the emotional/mental body, and the energy body, so hopefully we'll get present and enjoy some peace! As always, have fun and don't push yourself. If you don't get to practice forearm balance (pincha mayurasana) today, it's totally okay! Enjoy your downward dogs, plank poses, upward dogs or cobra poses. You can always practice dolphin and/or dolphin plank instead of forearm balance. Remember, if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure, shoulder or back injuries, glaucoma, or if your cycle is heavy, practice dolphin/dolphin plank or put your legs up a wall (viparita karani), If you like the strap I'm using (I love it)!
